Staking Plans for XX555 Play: Flat, Stepped, Capped
Three staking structures compared: flat, stepped, and session capped plans.
A staking plan decides stake sizes before excitement does. Three structures cover nearly every session: flat, stepped, and capped. Pick one per session and hold it.
Flat staking
Same stake every round. Simplest to execute, easiest to review, kindest to beginners. Variance still visits, but decisions stay clean throughout.
Stepped staking
Stakes move between pre defined levels on pre defined triggers. Steps must be written before play; invented mid session steps are just improvisation with a name.
Session caps
A cap ends staking for the session at a pre set boundary, win or lose. Caps convert stopping intentions into stopping facts. Every plan needs one regardless of structure.
Reviewing the plan
After the session, check: was the plan followed, and did the structure suit the game? Adjust structures between sessions, never inside them.
Which plan for beginners?
Flat with a session cap. Minimum moving parts, maximum review clarity.
Can steps be improvised?
No. Pre written steps are a plan; mid session inventions are impulses. Write first, play second.
Are caps needed on winning sessions?
Yes. Caps protect good sessions from momentum as well as bad ones from loss.
